Kent Lasers has sourced a range of quality AFTERMARKET replacement parts for Universal Laser Systems laser cutting equipment.
This range of parts and consumables are direct drop-in replacements with very little re-work required offering quality and longevity that meets and exceeds that of the originals. Our engineers have produced these parts out of a desire to support our extensive UK customer base, offering low cost spares and consumables.
The Universal range, is now quite old in terms of its mechanical and electrical design, with many parts available directly from components manufacturers (as sourced by our team). There is no longer a requirement to purchase directly from the Universal dealer network, where a heavy premium is charged for very basic items..
Additionally the requirement to ship parts back-and-forward from the USA has a negative environmental impact and entails long lead-times often consisting of several months; all our parts are held in UK stock.

Z Axis Motor:
All VLS (desktop & Platform) and PLS models.
This replacement motor has been sourced to provide long-life operation, low start-up current and high accuracy. To replace ULS Part Number: 000-000-000A
X Axis Motor:
M, V, X, VLS (Platform) & PLS Models.
Low Profile motor especially produced for Kent Lasers. High resolution, high stepping accuracy with connector included (pre terminated) drop-in replacement with no modification required.
Flanged Bearing:
1/8" bore to replace ULS originals.
These bearings can be used on any ULS part where a flanged bearing has been specified, such as Y axis wheels (All Models) and idlers/motor shaft retainers.
Y Axis Wheels (Bearing incl.)
All VLS, V, M, X & PLS Series models.
Sold separately (single wheel). 4 units are utilised on the above models and we recommend replacing in LHS/RHS pairs.
X & Y Axis idler wheel:
VLS, PLS, M, V, X Series.
POM Idler wheel to replace OEM original units. Bearing set included (SHAFT NOT INCLUDED) ULS Part number: 143-0005-0.
X Axis pully.
Various Models.
Aluminium pully to provide compatibility with OEM units. ULS part number: 133002200A (20).
Interlock Actuator:
Various Models.
Magnetic interlock actuator to offer compatibility with all previously fitted actuators on all models. ULS Part number 377-0002-01-A.
VLS #2 Mirror:
VL200, VL300 & VLS Desktop Models.
Replacement GOS mirror to replace damaged or cracked units. Please note we will require the return of your old mounting bracket for refurbishment. ULS Part Number: 145005600A.
VLS / PLS (Platform) 2.0" Lens:
VLS Platform, M, V, X series & PLS Models.
Replacement 2.0 lens to replace damaged or cracked units. Please note we will require the return of your old mounting bracket for refurbishment.
Motor Connector.
Various Models:
Replacement motor connector for X, Y and Z motors on various desktop and platform models. (Please enquire as to which style of connector is required)
Power Supply Replacement.

If your laser is low on power, or cuts out a power supply may be to blame. We can repair all older XP and Mean Well units, as well as provide replacement modules at a fraction of the cost of main dealers.
X Axis Motor:

X Axis motor tor replace units found in all Universal VLS Desktop models including VLS and VL (VL200 / VL300) Systems. Exceeds OEM quality.
Poly-flex belting (6.35mm)
Y Axis (12" Length)
This belting has been chosen to offer the same characteristics as the original OEM type. Suitable for ULS part numbers: 591-0003-07.
Deep Groove Miniature Bearing:
1/8" Bore to replace ULS originals.
These bearings can replace any ULS part where a non-flanged bearing has been specified, such as X axis wheels, idlers drive gears ect.
X Axis Wheels (Bearings incl.)
All VLS, V, M, X & PLS Models.
Sold separately (single wheel) 3 units are utilised on the above models and we recommend replacing the two upper wheels in pairs.

Aluminium idler wheel to provide compatibility with OEM units. ULS part number: 133017900A. (SHAFT NOT INCLUDED).

Replacement diffuser for optical protection. Suitable for all models with air-assist fitted.
PCB Repair.
Various Models:
We can offer repair of the various electronic boards in your ULS laser cutting systems. from simple connector replacements to component-level repair.
Up to 75W laser recharge.
Various Models:
If your laser is low on power, or has decreased in cutting capacity this may be due to your laser cartridge requiring service. Kent Lasers has now invested in the tooling to re-charge all UL and ULR laser tubes.
